MLK Young Changemakers is a series of conversations in recognition of Dr. King’s impact and the National Youth Day of Service where local and national youth leaders will explore how environmental and food justice impact our lives and communities.

Featuring the original Broadway cast with direction by Stevie Walker-Webb, this reading is a community call to action and a moment to lean in to our collective work of championing arts and culture with renewed vigor.
Ain’t No Mo' is a poignant satire set in an alternate present where the United States government has put forward a program to buy every Black person in America, who wishes, a one-way ticket to Africa. Experience a special screening of Horace Ové’s groundbreaking short documentary Baldwin’s Nigger, which captures a powerful conversation between Baldwin and comedian-activist Dick Gregory. Together, they engage a group of radical West Indian students in London, discussing topics ranging from the state of the 1960s civil rights movement to the perils of false consciousness.
This thought-provoking documentary invites audiences to critically explore American history while reflecting on the enduring relevance of Baldwin’s ideas for today’s society.
