What he doesn’t know is if he can even rhyme.Rooted in traditional Yoruba culture, SYNCING INK is Gordon’s epic coming-of-age journey to embrace the power of his words … for himself, his family, and the fate of Hip Hop itself. SYNCING INK is a beautiful piece blending Hip-Hop and theater, creating a revolutionary experience for an audience like no other.”– Common“SYNCING INK is a masterpiece of Hip Hop theater and I am genuinely thrilled to see this magnificent ceremony come to The Apollo’s Victoria Theater. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing NSangou’s artistic prowess and passion from Howard University until now, and if anyone were to ask me ‘Can he kick it?,’ I will, without hesitation reply … ‘Yes, he can!’”– Kamilah Forbes, Executive Producer, The Apollo
