American classical vocalist Joshua Banbury creates an evening of folk, jazz and blues that bridges the past to the present. Join us as he brings his Texas-based trio and taps into the music compositions of Black luminaries such as Billy Eckstine, Victoria Spivey, Billy Strayhorn and more.
Perfect for date night, or a night out with friends, the Apollo Music Café series has served as a launching pad for numerous artists including Grammy winners Tank & the Bangas, PJ Morton and Samara Joy showcasing their unique artistry in an intimate nightclub setting. The series features diverse performances across a myriad of genres (R&B, hip-hop, soul, jazz, latin, pop, funk and rock) and showcases artists drawn from the independent music scene who are making their mark in the industry. Doors open at 9pm; Showtime is 10pm. There is a $10 food/beverage minimum.

Guests should be aware of the small steps leading toward the Mezzanine and Balcony seating levels. Depending on the guest’s ticket location for these two levels, additional walking may be required. If guests are not able to travel up and down steps, tickets for events should be purchased for the Orchestra level.
