These two sculptures continue the conversation about preserving our nation’s history and its broader significance.

Presented in partnership with Bob Sumner (producer of Def Comedy Jam, creator of Laff Mobb on Aspire), the Apollo Comedy Club celebrates these rich comedic roots with an evening of comedy on the Apollo’s Stages at the Victoria to serve as a late-night hotspot featuring the best emerging talent in comedy today.

The Apollo has a long history of launching the careers of countless legendary artists and performers in a variety of genres, including comedy. Comedic legends Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, Monique, Jamie Foxx and Jackie Mabley (a.k.a. Moms) have all delighted audiences from the Apollo stage.

The biggest stars in comedy come together for one night only to pay tribute to comedy icon, Joan Rivers, benefiting her favorite charity, God’s Love We Deliver.

This can’t-miss event will feature an all-star cast, including appearances by: Sandra Bernhard, Rachel Brosnahan, Michelle Buteau, Nikki Glaser, Matteo Lane, Patton Oswalt. Randy Rainbow and Jeff Ross.

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Hawkins lights up the night with a red-hot mix of R&B and rock & roll. His mastery of the guitar, versatile vocals and rock star prowess evokes the spirit of Prince with a nod to Kravitz. It’s an electrically charged night of favorites such as “Super Power”, “Honey (Earthgang)”, “Can’t Fake What You Feel” and soulful covers that range from The Weeknd to SZA.

From red-dirt clay backroads to the streets of Harlem, Tony Evans, Jr. burst onto the country music scene and set it ablaze with his smooth Southern charm, deep bourbon vocals and heart-warming lyrics such as “Need Somebody”, “If You’re Ever In Georgia” and “Yours”. Bronzeville The Musical is a thought provoking, soulful musical about a father who guides his wayward son on a journey of his ancestral history. In efforts to inspire his son to accept his greatness, he is challenged with this task in the midst of the great migration. This play revolves around redemption, faith, legacy and courage of a people.

The Harlem Holiday Lights celebration offers an unforgettable experience for people of all ages.  Every year,  community groups and merchants throughout Harlem host in-store activities and promotions, as well as outdoor activities, to celebrate Harlem’s culture and the start of the holiday season.  The event takes place along 125th Street, and stretches from Fifth Avenue to Marginal Street on the East River. From karaoke and trivia to the Parade of Lights and giveaways, this event offers something for everybody.

Busta Rhymes, GloRilla, Brittany Howard and Doechii will take our stage for an evening of engaging discussions and power-packed live performances that will showcase the dynamic talent of the featured artists as well as celebrating the intersection of genres and exploring the power of music and culture. For the first time, this series comes to life on the legendary Apollo stage to present stars from the worlds of hip-hop, rock, R&B, and pop for an unforgettable night of music and conversation.

Longtime Rolling Stone contributor Touré will moderate both conversations, with musical direction by Louis Cato.

This year, we’re thrilled to welcome volunteers of all ages to The Apollo  to celebrate a full Gobble Gobble Give NYC event!

Join us on Thanksgiving, with shifts starting at 8am, for an inspiring day of giving back to people in need in Harlem and across the city. After focusing on a toy and donation drive in recent years due to the pandemic, we’re bringing back meal preparation, donation sorting, toy distribution, and our special Children’s Holiday Workshop, where kids can create holiday crafts for the families we help. This is a family-friendly event, so bring the kids; children are not only welcome but encouraged to help!

• Meal Assembly Station: Volunteers will prepare individual meals to be delivered to local shelters, families, and individuals in need.
• Meal and Donation Deployment Area: This is where volunteers will organize meals, donations, and supplies for pickup and delivery by the different organizations we’re helping.
• Kids Holiday Workshop: A creative space where children can make holiday crafts, such as cards, ornaments, and friendship bracelets for children in need.
• Toy, Food, Clothing, and Toiletry Sorting: Volunteers will help organize the donations of toys, non-perishable food, clothing, and toiletries we receive, ensuring that every item gets to the right place.
• Family Portrait Corner: As a thank-you for their participation, volunteers will receive a professional portrait to commemorate the meaningful day.
